As much as I’m all about agile methodology and launching an MVP in the first instance, then assessing how much traffic these blog posts get, I really want to launch my site with some blog content of value. Even if that value is just an introductory post which aims to convey my personality a little, I figure it’s better than nothing.

So, with that in mind: Hi! I’m Kris, if you’re reading this, then thank you. I appreciate that the posts are fairly scarce at the moment, but that won’t remain the case for long. I’m at a point at the moment where I’m looking for my next challenge, so I figure there’s enough value in writing about some of my favourite products, and identifying where they could be improved, to justify the effort and time spent on writing these posts.

I’d like to review some of our more classic products, services and events, and adopt a modern approach to how they could be improved upon, as well as identifying why these changes haven’t been made. I’m also very excited at looking at some of the features our charity apps have to offer, and identify areas of improvement without breaking the bank (thus deducting from the cause), and identify where quick wins can be achieved.

Come to mention that, I feel the concept of ‘quick wins’ is a concept which easily merits a post unto itself. What is the definition of these exactly? How do these transform across different industries? How should these be prioritised vs bugs and other features? Anyway, I digress.

I’m going to use this space to deep dive into some of the above concepts, but also write about my take on my own product experiences. What impresses me and why, my first impressions, what I think is done well, and where I think improvements can be made. I intent on starting on aviation products, an area of tech I feel has scope for vast improvement, and an area very close to my heart as it pertains to travel.
